Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Neura Space GmbH for your Neura Name, NESP and the Neura platforms you sign in to with it.

Last updated 14 October 2026Draft — pending legal review

This text is a working draft. It describes how Neura works today but has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before it becomes final.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms are an agreement between you and Neura Space GmbH, [registered address], Germany ("Neura", "we"). They apply to neura.new, neura.name, your Neura Name and NESP, and to Neura Space, Neura Zone and Neura Build as far as those platforms do not have their own terms.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is not part of this agreement.

2. Your Neura Name

  • A Neura Name is one personal identity for every Neura platform. Each person may hold one Neura Name, and it is for your own use only.
  • You must be at least 16 years old and give true details about yourself.
  • Anyone can request a Neura Name; we review every request and may decline one without giving reasons. The agreement starts when we approve your request.
  • Names that impersonate other people, brands or Neura itself, or that are offensive, are not allowed. We may reserve names, and change or withdraw a name that breaks these rules, after telling you where possible.

3. Keeping your account safe

Keep your passkeys, passwords and codes to yourself, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your Neura Name. We may require stronger sign-in methods (passkey or authenticator app) for roles with wider access, and we may lock a Neura Name temporarily to protect it or others.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Neura to:

  • break the law or infringe other people's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • send spam, malware or phishing, or attack, probe or overload our systems;
  • get around limits, budgets, access controls or the metering of NESP;
  • create content that sexualises minors, incites violence or hatred, or harasses others;
  • resell or share access to your Neura Name or to AI features without our written permission.

5. Your content

What you create or upload stays yours. You give us the rights we need to store, process and show it so that we can provide the services to you and to the people you share it with, and for no other purpose. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.

6. NESP credit

  • NESP is the prepaid credit you spend on Neura platforms, for example on AI features. 1 NESP corresponds to 1 US cent of usage at the prices shown in neura.name.
  • NESP is not money, e-money or a financial instrument. It earns no interest, cannot be transferred to other people and cannot be exchanged back into money, except where the law gives you a refund.
  • Starter or promotional NESP is a free benefit; it may expire and has no cash value.
  • Prices in NESP are shown before you use a paid feature and may change for future use. Top-ups are paid through Stripe; the price shown at checkout includes any VAT.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU you have a statutory right of withdrawal from a top-up within 14 days. It ends early once you have started to use the purchased NESP after expressly agreeing to this and acknowledging that you lose the right of withdrawal.

7. AI features

AI answers and images are produced by machine learning models through the Neura AI gateway. They can be wrong, incomplete or similar to content created for others. Check them before you rely on them, and do not use them as professional advice.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Neura available and secure, but we do not promise uninterrupted service; maintenance and incidents are announced on neura.name/status. We may improve and change features. If a change substantially reduces what you have paid for, you may end the agreement and receive a refund of your unused paid NESP.

9. Ending the agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by asking us to delete your Neura Name (privacy@neura.space). We may end it with 30 days' notice, or immediately for good cause, in particular serious or repeated breaches of these terms. On ending, unused paid NESP is refunded unless we ended the agreement because of your breach.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where we have given a guarantee. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations (obligations whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the agreement possible and on which you may regularly rely), limited to the damage typically foreseeable when the agreement was made. Otherwise our liability for slight negligence is excluded. These limits also apply to our employees and agents.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons, such as new features or changes in the law. We tell you about changes at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not object before then, the new terms apply; we point this out to you in the notice. If you object, either side may end the agreement.

12. Law and disputes

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. If you are a merchant, the courts at our registered office have jurisdiction.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
